Where can I find good advice about alternative Lung cancer treatments?

My mum was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer 9 months ago, she has had chemo and now is on some other kind of tablets (tasiba?), but in the past 2 weeks she has gotten very weak and cant do much at all. I have been looking into alternative treatments, such as essiac tea, budwig protocol, gersun therapy, B17, but there are so many i just dont know what to choose! I know she needs to change her diet, but its hard as she doesnt eat very much as it is, and is painfully thin. Does anyone know of any alternative practioners that I could speak to, to discuss other treatments rather than the toxic ortodox ones she is having now? I also would like to get a good nutritionist for her too, as macmillan have advised her to eat absolute crap, like cheeseburgers!! Im live in London, UK, so need centers that are over here.

Thanks xx

Alternative Therapy For Dogs

Acupuncture fo dogs…Acupuncture actually began as a veterinary practice in China thousands of years ago.

According to Chinese thinking, a system of life energy or ‘Qi’ circulates through the body along meridians, special pathways throught the body.

Acupuncture points lie along these meridians, and when the points are stimulated, the acupuncturist can manipulate energy flows.

A trained acupuncturist knows what meridians pass through a certain area and stimulates the appropriate points on the meridian.

Different conditions require different kinds of stimulation. Contemporary acupuncturists even use laser beams, which are completely painless.

Electro-acupuncture can also be used…

Acupuncture has been shown to improve hip dysplasia, arthritis, certain gastrointestinal ailments, skin problems, hormone imbalances, and some cancers and diseases of the nervous system.

Chiropractic treatment for dogs…

The purpose Chiropractic treatment is to get the neuro-muscular-skeletal system aligned by using gentle manipulations. It also helps to keep the joints more flexible. Not all Vets approve of chiropractic procedures, but many owners have had great success with them, especially for chronic pain in the joints or back.

Chiropractic procedures can be organised between you and your Vet. People who visit their vets only when their dog is ill have usually waited too long.Your dog should have a thorough going over when you first acquire him and a physical examination at least once every year.

In addition to regular health checkups, standard prophylactic veterinary care for every dog should include vaccinations, parasite protection, and dental care.

Massage for dogs…

Is a great technique that can be used on most dogs. Best of all, you can learn to do it yourself.

Massage can speed healing, improve circulation, relax tight muscles, promote healthy skin, remove toxins from the body, and relax your dog.

It can be done with a variety of strokes and touch techniques…

Choose a time when you’re both quiet and relaxed. Work slowly, moving your hands towards the heart and watch your dog carefully, noting any signs of pain or distress.

Finding a good vet for your dog…If this is your dog’s first trip to the vet, be sure check the place out. It’s always a good idea to ask someone local in your local area to recommend one that they have used.
