well first off i would like ot start off with some cell basics. one a cell has dna, a cells dna controls everything a cell does protein production, stabilizm reproduction you name it. since the dna controls the growth the cell and we know that cancerous cells have an over production in cells due to a mutation to a cells dna more in specific a mutaion of the dna’s arrangement in nucleic acid sequence. so there you have it. for example lung cancer. we would have to reverse mutate all the cells of only lung cells. once we mutate them to a normal healthy rate of reproduction of cells we would in fact cure cancer now im just going around getting different opinions and tell me what you think. personally i think its terrific and i want to introduce it to cancer researchers so that we can finnaly have piece. thank you steve duran.

It is important to note that research is ongoing with DCA, and not everyone is convinced it will turn out to be a miracle drug. There have been many therapies that were promising in vitro and in animal models that did not work for one reason or another in humans. To provide false hope is not our intention. So, why hven’t the media picked up on it?

Here’s the deal. Researchers at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada found a cheap and easy to produce drug that kills almost all cancers. The drug is dichloroacetate, and since it is already used to treat metabolic disorders, we know it should be no problem to use it for other purposes.

Doesn’t this sound like the kind of news you see on the front page of every paper?

The drug also has no patent, which means it could be produced for bargain basement prices in comparison to what drug companies research and develop.

Scientists tested DCA on human cells cultured outside the body where it killed lung, breast and brain cancer cells, but left healthy cells alone. Rats plump with tumors shrank when they were fed water supplemented with DCA.

Again, this seems like it should be at the top of the nightly news, right?

Cancer cells don’t use the little power stations found in most human cells – the mitochondria. Instead, they use glycolysis, which is less effective and more wasteful.

Doctors have long believed the reason for this is because the mitochondria were damaged somehow. But, it turns out the mitochondria were just dormant, and DCA starts them back up again.

The side effect of this is it also reactivates a process called apoptosis. You see, mitochondria contain an all-too-important self-destruct button that can’t be pressed in cancer cells. Without it, tumors grow larger as cells refuse to be extinguished. Fully functioning mitochondria, thanks to DCA, can once again die.

With glycolysis turned off, the body produces less lactic acid, so the bad tissue around cancer cells doesn’t break down and seed new tumors.

Here’s the big catch. Pharmaceutical companies probably won’t invest in research into DCA because they won’t profit from it. It’s easy to make, unpatented and could be added to drinking water. Imagine, Gatorade with cancer control.

So, the groundwork will have to be done at universities and independently funded laboratories. But, how are they supposed to drum up support if the media aren’t even talking about it?

Evidence keeps growing that to cure cancer, you must kill off the cancer stem cell. For the last 30-40 years, cancer treatment has focused on just the cancer cell, and not the cancer stem cell. This is like killing the weed plant you see above ground and leaving the root behind. The root will regrow the weed, just like the cancer stem cell will regrow the cancer cells.
Now, Tykerb has been shown to kill off breast cancer stem cells in some types of breast cancer, Parthenolide/DMAPT kills AML (leukemia) stem cells and other cancer stem cells, GRN163L kills myeloma stem cells. Cyclopamine and the new water soluble version kill prostate cancer stem cells and myeloma stem cells. Clinical trials to start soon. So, will this finally lead to some cancer cures? I await the evidence.

The University of Alberta and the Alberta Cancer Board are committed to performing clinical trials in the immediate future in consultation with regulatory agencies such as Health Canada.

but in America i dont think its even being looked at by the FDA and even if it was looked at it would take 7 years to get FDA approval for use.

one important part of the article to look at is

Even if the drug itself won’t be used in America you’d think we would at least use the part where it debunks a former theory of doctors in which mitochondria are damaged beyond repair, do you think these doctors have come upon some sort of good luck or something? they just happened to find the right drug, i doubt it was very lucky, just very smart to think hey maybe we are wrong on some cancer facts lets give this a try and boom it worked so whats really going on is they pay for false medical reports to debunk any cure.

Cancer patients, either men or women in menopause, were “pregnant” when they took this test A quantitative test was developed which measures HCG. A reading of 50 and below showed no malignancy and 50 and above was more likely to show malignancy. Obviously the quantitative test could be used to screen for cancer. According to these findings, any man, or any woman who has since ceased having a menstrual period, could take a pregnancy test and if it registered positive may indeed have a lurking cancer.
For those individuals who are not inclined to have regular checkups, this would be an invaluable means to find out if there was a malignancy in the body. If the pregnancy test results in a positive reading, than the blood test, AMAS, would be helpful in reaching a final medical conclusion. I am asking partly to post this because I have a sick feeling that if this was to work, we wouldn’t see any sign of it again!
The treatment will transfuse specific white blood cells, called granulocytes, into patients with advanced forms of cancer. The granulocytes will come from healthy young people with immune systems that produce cells that have high levels of anti-cancer activity.

In the animal studies, white blood cells from cancer-resistant mice cured all lab mice who had malignant tumours. The cells have also been able to kill cervical, prostate and breast cancer tumour cells in Petri dish tests.

“All the mice we treated were 100 per cent cured,” lead researcher Dr. Zheng Cui told CTV News. “So that was very surprising for us.”
